I want to send more than one toast to one address, do I have to pay individual postage for each gift?

You can now do this, the postage increments + £1.50 to cover the additional cost of each toast.

My payment has failed?

Payment can ‘timeout’ in checkout if there is a delay in entering address/payment details or there is an issue with your payment provider.  Please reorder if this happens.  An email notification is sent out to confirm receipt of all successful orders.

How soon will my order be dispatched?

All orders received by midday Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day. Order received after midday are dispatched the next working day.  Please note all orders placed after midday on Friday are dispatched on Monday.

My order suggests it has been signed for but it hasn't been received?

The Royal Mail tracked delivery service uses a GPS system so if your order has been suggested as delivered but your recipient hasn’t received it please let us know and we will contact Royal Mail for more detailed information.  If Royal Mail are unable to pinpoint the delivery we will put in a claim on your behalf and either refund or resend your toast. This can take up to 10 days to process after reporting the loss to Royal Mail,

I'm ordering one of these to be sent back to me. Can I see it before I give it to my friend?

Our toast boxes are sent completely sealed ie all wrapped ready for the recipient.  You would have to break the seal to view the toast which will ruin the gift box. We are saving you a job so you don’t need to gift wrap!

Do you include paperwork in the gift boxes

All of our toasts are a gift so we don’t include invoices in the gift boxes, or with the order.

Is the box left open so I can add my own message

No. Our toast boxes are sent sealed and ready to gift.  If for any reason you would like your toast box leaving open please let us know in Notes with your order.

I would like to add one of your coasters, are these supplied sealed in the toast box?

Yes if you order a coaster it is assigned to whichever drink you have chosen and we add the coaster inside the drinks box and seal.  You cannot order coasters individually.

Do the santa hats go on all Chrstmas 'toasts'?

They will do – while stocks last.

The bottles that don’t fit the santa hats are: Patron Tequilla, Disaronno and our larger bottles ie wines, prosecco and champagne.  We will decorate each and every box with our Christmas labels if we know your order is for Christmas, and we have a fab range of Christmas greetings cards.

I've used the wrong address on my order

Not a problem.  Let us know as soon as you have placed the order and we can make the necessary alterations before your order is processed.

I can't upload my photo

Process your order without the photograph and email the photo along with your order reference and we will add the photo in for you.

Issues can occur with Facebook photos as Facebook assigns them a long digit number and our software can’t handle the file name.  If you change the file to a simple name this often resolves the issue.

Do you offer refunds?

Details of our refund policy is outlined here.  If there is a problem with the delivery of your order we will liaise with Royal Mail on your behalf and submit a claim if required.

If you experience any problems with uploading your image or typing in your message to print on the message card, then please either:

  1. Contact us via our LIVE CHAT and we will do our best to help resolve your problem, or
  2. If you are using a mobile device and have come from a Facebook Advert link then please try connecting to the website directly (www.atoastinthepost.co.uk) via your main website browser such as Chrome or Safari, or
  3. If you are using a mobile device but have access to a desktop/laptop then try using this to create the message card, or
  4. Checkout your 'toast' and then when you receive your email order confirmation, please simply email us your image/photo and required message and we will create the message card for you and email you a proof.  We will aim to produce and email this proof to you within 2 hours of receiving your email during normal office hours.  We will not dispatch your 'toast' until you have confirmed you are happy with the message card proof.

GUARANTEED NEXT WORKING DAY

This is a guaranteed next working day delivery service and delivered before 4pm. You will be able to track the progress of the delivery through the Royal Mail website (tracking number provided after dispatch) and you will receive an automated email once the item has been successfully delivered. Please note: Orders placed after midday on Friday are dispatched on Monday.


MULTIPLE TOASTS BEING DELIVERED TO ONE ADDRESS

If you are sending more than one toast to one address the postage will increase by £1.50 for each item to cover postage costs.

For example:

1 x toast: Standard rate | 2 x toasts: Standard rate +£1.50 | 3 x toasts: Standard rate + £3.00. | 4 x toasts: Standard rate + £4.50

These costs are automatically updated at checkout to reflect the number of toasts added to basket.

Please note:

Orders for same day dispatch must be received by 12 noon on a working day.

Working days are Monday-Friday.  Orders received after 12 noon on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
