An order is placed at the time the customer confirms payment for a product to atoastinthepost.co.uk. The order confirmation email sent by atoastinthepost.co.uk represents our acceptance of your offer to purchase a product and signifies contractual relations have begun. Orders can not be cancelled after they have been submitted due to the nature of the personalisation process and the speed at which this process is actioned.
Once an order has been placed on the atoastinthepost.co.uk website, no amends can be made to the personalised message card. The order is automatically sent to a print queue and cannot be altered. Please therefore carefully check that your personalised message card is correct before confirming and paying for your order.
Please see our Returns Policy for detials how we will rectify an order in the rare event it is damaged in transit.
The correct product price is that as described live on the web site at any time and is confirmed at the final order confirmation stage before payment is requested. All prices are inclusive of VAT.
All payments made to atoastinthepost.co.uk are taken online via Opayo and Paypal. Atoastinthepost.co.uk accepts no liability for losses or any misuse of personal information provided by you during the payment process unless through our own negligence. All prices are shown in £’s Sterling.
Due to restrictions on sending alcohol abroad we do not deliver outside of the UK.
Through the Royal Mail services we use we are able to deliver to all UK destinations including:
Scotland, Offshore Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight.
Please note that the Royal Mail is currently experiencing delays throughout its network due to the pandemic as well as a much larger volume of items being sent through their network at this time. This is resulting in longer delivery times than usual, so if your ‘Toast’ is for a special occasion within the next 7 days, we would strongly recommend using the 24HR service or, for really urgent deliveries needed in the next couple of working days, the Guaranteed Next Day Special Delivery service.
We currently offer 3 postage options through Royal Mail.
All orders are on a TRACKED service and a tracking reference is automatically emailed to the purchaser where you can see the progress of the delivery. As part of this tracking service, you will also receive an automated email notification when the item has been successfully delivered to your recipient. We cannot offer refunds or compensation if Royal Mail are unable to deliver to the address given and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to manage the redelivery/post office collection in these rare situations.
If you provide an incorrect delivery address for your recipient and the item therefore can’t be delivered, it will automatically be returned to us approx 2 weeks later. At this point we can offer a refund for the value of the drinks or agree a credit to use against sending another ‘Toast’ out to the correct address.
If the ‘Toast’ can’t be delivered because nobody was available at the delivery address to take receipt of the box, a card will be left by Royal Mail with instructions of how to arrange either a re-delivery or a collection from the nearest Royal Mail depot.
If you have used the Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 services and your ‘Toast’ has not been delivered after 5 working days from the dispatch date, you can call Royal Mail with your tracking information on 0345 795 0950 to find out what is happening to the item.
All orders placed before 12 noon on a normal working day (Mon-Fri) will be produced and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12 noon on a normal working day (Mon-Fri) will be produced and dispatched the next normal working day (Mon-Fri). Please therefore note that orders placed after 12 noon on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday.
A tracking service is provided with all orders including an automated email notification when the item has been successfully delivered to your recipient. Please note that our gift boxes do not fit through a standard letterbox and will therefore require someone to be at the delivery address to take receipt of the item. You can request the item is left in a safe place or with a neighbour, the details for which can be provided in the delivery notes box at checkout.
All our products include a miniature bottle of 5cl or 20cl alcohol, some products include two 5cl or 20cl bottles.
Orders are packaged securely to meet Royal Mail guidelines.
We do not include any plastics or polystyrene in our packaging and the stylish postage box is made from 100% recyclable cardboard.
As our product is designed to be posted direct to your recipient, we will apply postage labels and gift alert labels to the outside of the postage box.
Full size bottles are not part of our product range.
All personal information collected by atoastinthepost.co.uk will remain confidential. We will not sell your details to other companies nor make use of your details for any use other than those directly related to delivering a quality service relative to the product purchased. All photographs and messages related to orders for the personalised keepsake card are deleted on dispatch of order.
These terms and conditions are not intended, in any manner or form, to interfere with the statutory rights of the consumer.
Whilst atoastinthepost.co.uk makes every reasonable effort to ensure internet security in all its operations, and makes use of reputable web-hosting and e-commerce solutions, we cannot guarantee that the web site is clear from internet viruses and other malicious software etc. It is highly recommended that customers make use of firewall, anti-virus and other relevant anti-malicious parasite software for any internet activity.
atoastinthepost.co.uk accepts no responsibility for the adverse effects of malicious software encountered whilst making use of the web site.
All contracts and dealings shall be governed and construed in accordance with the law of England. Any Dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England. English is the only language offered for the completion of the contract.
